LedgerMCP: Cookie Policy

LedgerMCP, LLC

Effective date: July 9, 2026

Last updated: July 10, 2026

This is still one of the shorter cookie policies you will read. LedgerMCP sets

one cookie of its own and uses one analytics service. Here is the complete

picture.

Cookies we set

CookiePurposeTypeDuration
`lmcp_session`Keeps you signed in. HttpOnly and Secure: it is never readable by scripts in the page.Strictly necessarySession-based; expires after inactivity or when you sign out

Analytics (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the website is used: which pages

people visit, roughly where traffic comes from, and what content is useful.

Google Analytics sets cookies such as `_ga` and `_ga_*` to distinguish

visitors.

advertising, and we do not sell it.

financial data; transactions, balances, and reports are never sent to

Google.

Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt

out of Google Analytics across all sites with the

Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on,

or block its cookies in your browser (the site works fine without them).

Local storage

The web app stores small preferences in your browser's local storage (for

example, which of your books you last had open). This data never leaves your

browser and contains no financial information.

Third parties

When you connect a bank account, the connection flow is provided by Plaid and

may set cookies governed by

Plaid's End User Privacy Policy.

This happens only inside the bank-connection flow, and only if you use live

bank feeds.

We set no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking cookies.

Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the

`lmcp_session` cookie will prevent signing in to the web app; blocking

analytics cookies has no effect on any feature. The marketing pages work fine

with all cookies disabled.
